This artwork was made by my friend and colleague Maria Angelica Reyes, one of the 12 national finalists to the Bayer Young Environmental Envoy.

Her project is called “Be eARThistic”. She wants to save the environment through making artworks from trash and junks.

The artwork above is just one of the artworks exhibited at the Be eARThistic Exhibit. The exhibit is currently at Museo De Lipa, Lipa City until July 25, 2010. It will be then transferred to our school, De La Salle Lipa from July 29 until August 3. She also conducts free art workshops for kids every Saturday.
